In 2009, Adam O’Neill, Harry Alford, and Thomas Alford launched Lacrosse Playground (LPG), quickly establishing it as a premier destination for lacrosse enthusiasts. The platform offered comprehensive coverage, from lacrosse news and gear trends to athlete lifestyles and sports betting insights. As the sport evolved, so did LPG’s mission: to deepen fan engagement through compelling long-form stories, connecting fans more intimately with the athletes behind the game. Our challenge was to rebrand LPG for a new generation while honoring its rich origins.

Our rebranding strategy began with a deep dive into LPG’s history and its audience’s evolving expectations. We aimed to create a visual identity that resonated with both longtime followers and new readers. The LPG Experience
To complement the new branding, we developed a sleek, user-friendly WordPress blog. A seamless migration of existing content ensured the preservation of SEO value and historical archives. The refreshed site architecture enhances navigation, allowing users to access articles, gear reviews, and athlete stories effortlessly.
